Zen mattress protectors are well known for their premium protection against dust mites, fluids, urine, perspiration, allergens and bacteria. This has made them especially helpful for those with kids, pets, allergies, asthma or incontinence. With just one unprotected fluid accident, a mattress can be left with a permanent stain or odor.
Dust mites are a constant problem for millions of Australian who suffer from daily allergy and asthma triggers. Zen mattress protectors prevent dust mites from passing through the surface of the protector where they would normally multiply and defecate.
With a 100 percent waterproof polyurethane backing, this protector is sure to keep out all liquids, plus it is so thin and soft it won’t change the feel of your mattress.
our premium cotton terry surface design is soft, smooth, and noiseless. Cotton terry naturally absorbs fluids while allowing air and heat to pass through, keeping your bed cool and dry.
Machine wash and tumble dry on low heat to keep your sleep environment clean, safe, hassle-free, and feeling like the day spa of your dreams.
Urethane is breathable . The type of sheets you use play a huge role in how cool you sleep. Microfiber & flannel don’t breath, so sleep hot. Higher tread count sheets don’t breath as well as lower thread counts. I use percale 300 thread sheets, as they are most recommend for cooler sleeping. I haven’t noticed sleeping hot with this cover, which I use on my Tempur Pedic bed
One of the reasons nearly everyone in our family has one is that they do NOT make crinkly noises.
They also wash well and dry well – if you put them in the dryer with your sheets. If you dry it by itself, it will take three or four cycles.
The waterproof protection is made from a TOXIC-FREE thermoplastic polyurethane film (TPU), and it IS biodegradable.
This goes under your regular bedding. It protects the mattress from spills. If you need extra padding, I suppose you could use it with a mattress pad.
I washed it in warm water all by itself ~ that’s what the instructions said to do. Dried in dryer same way on Medium heat.
